AUGUST
Love in Action 6 week youth discipleship outreach training 23 member team hosted the Ignite the Fire Youth Awakening in Benton, Illinois. Matt & Merari Houser directed this Life-giving event for youth from 5 states and several churches. Workshops provided a variety of excellent, mature training. Main sessions saw genuine repentance, joyous celebration, and the whole Body of Christ being released together in the "river of God". Thank you Fires of Revival Church and Pastor Severin for serving us!!
SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER
Pastors Bobby & Martha Kirkley from Whitehorse Christian Center in Indiana blessed our area friends with a “season of refreshing” in the presence of the Lord in a three day meeting. We highly recommend their anointed ministry. Order Martha's new CD "Where Are My Josiahs?" mkirkley@whcc.net
Teachers Eddie & Susan Hyatt from Tulsa, Oklahoma blessed our region with excellent teaching, admonishing us to search the scriptures in these days of “every wind of doctrine”.

Mom Gwen in Hospital in September....
After struggling to breathe for weeks, it was discovered that Mom Gwen had many blood clots in her lungs, any of which could have taken her life. After 6 days in the Springfield hospital AND THE EFFECTIVE PRAYERS of a multitude of friends around the world, she was sent home on oxygen for up to 6 months. After 5 weeks, she was off of the oxygen and is now doing "fantastic" says her Dr. God has raised her up for His glory! We do covet your continued prayers!!

W. Africa ICMITeam takes new territory!!
Deb Duffy, Haley Cockrum, Anne Marie Barker, and Minerva Gomez are pioneering in Cameroon and Togo, W. Africa as they minister and announce the upcoming French ICMI. Good reports from their hosts tell of their dedication, exemplary lives, and valuable teaching to teachers and to children!!! We are so proud of them!!!
PREPARE YOUR CHILDREN/YOUTH NOW for PERSECUTION
In these last days, we must prepare our children and youth to STAND for Jesus no matter what. We must ensure that they are memorizing and applying the Word of God in their lives AND are full of the Holy Spirit.
This brother in Ethiopia was saved at the age of 14. He immediately began preaching. The communists arrested him and imprisoned him for 7 years. He knew very little of the Bible but he testified that praying in tongues sustained him during those long years. He is now a pastor of a strong church.

Laura Templeton moves on.....
Laura has faithfully served with LRM for almost 20 years. Her excellent teaching, warm hospitality and great sense of humor have been greatly appreciated by all. After more than a year of struggling to know His will, she has given her resignation to LRM to pursue His Call more fully. We recommend her to teach as a guest teacher in your Bible School and/or to teach on missions and take a team from your local church!! Pray for this exciting step of faith! THANK YOU, LAURA for helping us to pioneer ICMI in the USA, Russia, and Africa and ALL you have contributed to the ministry of LRM. We will greatly miss you, but we bless you in your new adventure!!
Rick & Maria Arnold move up....
LRM board of directors reaffirmed their decision of two years ago in choosing the Arnolds to be the next directors of LRM/ICMI in the USA and overseas, in His timing. When they are released from the establishing of the base in Nagpur, India, they will return to assume leadership duties here at the international office. It is God's doing and it is good.
LRM offices move after 8 years!!
Because the present office modular is being sold this month, we have temporarily moved the LRM offices to the guest rooms downstairs at the Haven. Easy to say....but it is a lot of WORK moving 7 desks, computers, phone, 100s of boxes, etc. etc. PTL for the many volunteers!
LRM Book Nook moves January 4
After using Jim Moffat's buildings on Union Ave for two years, we will vacate the premises beginning January 4.....closing the Book Nook, moving all of the chairs, storage items and kitchen equipment etc. etc.
WE PRAY THAT OUR NEXT MOVE IS INTO SUNSHINE PARK!!!
With our libraries, media and missions equipment stored for two years in 5+ locations, we are ready to move into our earthly permanent home.

Sure Word Ministries has expanded the radio ministry of Donna Kazenske to nearly 10 states in the USA, in addition to reaching all of Europe by shortwave.

LRM/ICMI India Base NEWS FLASH!!
The LRM Board of Directors has approved the merger of LRM/ICMI activities in India with Metro Missions of India, Directed by Anand & Pam Jeyakumar.
LRM/ICMI will come under their umbrella legally with the government of India. ICMI will be the main training branch and Metro Missions will continue its rapidly growing children's outreach. Rick & Maria Arnold and team and the Jeyakumars are in 100% agreement!! Anand and Pam are ICMI graduates and carry the same spirtual "DNA" as ICMI. It is a "marriage" for His glory...which some say will produce even more
spiritual children!!

Anand Jeyakumar reports, "Praise the Lord!! Once again we had a wonderful, life-changing, Spirit filled 2 week ICMI training. The training was attended by 31 students (15 level I and 16 level 2) All of the level 2 students were Metro Missions staff. Right from the first day they were hungry to learn more and kept pressing on through the training to go to a higher level in their walk with God and ministry. The presence of God was so strong each day. As always, morning chapel times were lively and filled with God's glory. They were blessed tremendously by the anointed and profound teachings of the Arnolds and D'souzas and other guest teachers."
Children's Ministry Resource Center - Nagpur OPENS
Tina D'Souza of the ICMI base team in Nagpur worked diligently to prepare for the opening of this resource center for the entire Body of Christ in this central Indian city of 3,000,000. The goal is to serve churches, schools, orphanages, etc in the entire region with the library and book store. They hope to soon be able to encourage and update the 12 other Indian libraries throughout the nation.

Overseas Opportunities and Prayer
JAPAN - Alma Bermejo has signed a two year contract with CFNI-Japan to help pioneer their new course in children and family ministry which begins in March. She recently ministered in Slovakia and Greece, also.
INDIA - Want to take a short term team? Write to the Arnolds or Anands. Pray for the finances for the printing of newly translated Hindi curriculum and ICMI visuals AND for the expansion of the 12 resource libraries.
E. EUROPE GLOBAL CHILDREN’S TEACHER’S SUMMIT 2009 - September 24 - October 1, near Bratislava, Slovakia. PRAY for the selection 80 delegates from 40 nations who will attend
AFRICAN FRENCH-SPEAKING ICMI 2009 - June 22 - July 18 in Cameroon, W. Africa. This one month training will potentially affect the 24 French speaking African nations, known as "Francophone Africa". Our goal is to have one teacher from each nation attend the one month training, returning to their nation with REVIVAL FIRE to enable them to train others to reach 10,000s of children!! Sponsors are needed for transportation to make it happen. Pray for Brother Benvictor, the national ICMI coordinator.
Sunshine Park Update
With the sale of valuable donated farm land, and future sales of donated rental properties, we are nearing the $600,000 mark towards the goal of $850,000 for the lovely 10 acre wooded campus for LRM/ICMI. The office, class room, auditorium buildings are ideally suited to our needs for training youth in the summer and international students in the spring, as well as, hosting regular conferences for the Body of Christ in the USA. We Believe that one or several will contribute the balance to enable us to finalize the purchase and MOVE IN in time for the next ICMI. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVES!! PLEASE CONTINUE TO BELIEVE WITH US!!! Thank you to all who have given and continue to give to the new campus!!
